The Compact Sub Station is designed, keeping in mind the personal safety and aesthetics, considering HT equipment is located in high density urban centers. It is designed in accordance with IEC 61330 standards. It is a pre fabricated secondary sub station consisting of distribution transformer, medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchboard, connections and associated equipment in a compact unit.

All components are housed in an enclosure which protects the equipment against environmental hazards and unauthorized access.
The electrical equipment is cooled by natural ventilation through openings in the substation.

The galvanized steel structure is bolted to the structure. The result is a fully earthed enclosure, providing as high level of personal safety. CSS is designed and fabricated using material and equipment capable of withstanding harsh climatic and weather conditions.
